Well, here we are, 13 years later. I spent the first couple of years learning as much as I could about orchids. I bought books and scoured the internet for information and people who were like me, hopelessly bitten by the orchid bug.
I went from a beginner grower to an intermediate in a matter of months. But that wasn't enough. I wanted to try new things, even the hard stuff. I was convinced I could do even the most difficult procedures required to grow orchids from seed. This meant I had to figure out a way to make a sterile environment to do the necessary lab work.
You see, orchids seeds need to be sterilized, then added to jars containing sterile nutrients and agar so that they can germinate and eventually grow leaves and roots for life outside the lab.
Way back then, I managed to sow several batches of seed and successfully raise babies to blooming sized plants. This takes years and is truly not for the faint of heart.
Explore, dream, admire, meditate,
and acknowledge what you already know...
that for you it has been, is and will be
... Always Orchids.
and acknowledge what you already know...
that for you it has been, is and will be
... Always Orchids.
